Don't fight for your limitations, fight for your dreams and goals
Being over 55 now, I find myself so much more patient, loving, calm. It's a peacefulness that definitely was not part of my younger years. In that peace, though, comes a desire to be creative, to serve, to help other women. What I love is hearing other women's dreams, their passions, their goals. I love helping them come to a place where they realize that this is the one life, one wild life that we have - it's time to go for it. Each step can be scary. The doubt, the fear. Who am I to do this? What do I have to offer? Those days of doubt have nagged me over and over. And truly, the only thing that helps is taking action.
When a woman comes to me, she is taking such brave action. We didn't grow up with cameras in our faces all the time. Being on social media is not a comfortable place to be unless we are taking photos with our family (sometimes we cringe at those photos as well). And we are so critical of ourselves. It's a huge step in trusting me to see in them what they want to see but haven't yet. What they believe in the heart they want to be, how they want to show up. So I applaud every woman who has put aside the fear of being in front of the camera and is ready to be more present as the brand of the business they are building.
I would love to say it's all to feel good about yourself, but I know it's a big investment. One I don't take lightly and nothing makes me happier than having my clients ready to show up in the world like they dream of showing up. It's FANTASTIC!!!!
Enough about why I love what I do - I'll leave you with something a mentor told me once.
my happy place, any body of water. I love the peacefulness of it all. It's the perfect place to journal and enjoy the sounds of nature around me. I would like to say I journal everyday, but I don't. I do love it when I do it though.
